Jennifer (Jenna) Anela Hawkins is not just your usual tomboy that you have seen before. She's a great dancer, a very good soccer player who has a beautiful voice and is known to be a quadruple threat to most.
This year, she is joining the University of her dreams, (King Arthur University) which offers dance and soccer in Los Angeles. The only problem is that the university only has a soccer team that's only for boys and won't allow girls to join.
But what will happen if the boys' team's Capitan joins her dance crew, with whom Jennifer has a lot more in common than she realizes?

~

"By the way, you're a wonderful dancer."

"Um. . . thanks." That was the second time this guy complimented me for this weekend alone and we'd only met two days ago.
It made me dumbfounded which doesn't happen often whenever anyone gives a compliment.

Yet David had and it scares the hell out of me. Until he gives this charming grin, "But I bet that I can do that little dance of yours better than you."

Madeline Curtis, a runaway from small town in Washington, finds herself in the streets of Hollywood looking for a place to stay when she encounters a strange hooded man. In less than a second poor Madeline's entire life was flipped upside down and she is determined to find the monster that caused it all. ----------------------------- Maybe it was the way all of their hearts beat in synchronization or the bulging veins that popped out of their hands as they did their work. Somehow, some way, without the normal supervision and the taste of human blood I'd gotten just an hour ago, I broke my streak of leaving the humans to rest freely, and I killed them all. "Madeline." I announced to the crowd, at least they'd know the name to their killer when I pierced my teeth into their bodies, their bodies running cold due to the lack of blood. "Maddy?" A sadly familiar voice said from the front door. When I didn't respond he stepped closer and used his thumb to tilt my head back to look at him. I couldn't make out if it was disappointment or sadness when he looked at the remains of the human boy lying in front of me, no chance of life inside of him. "Oh, Madeline." he sighed. ----------------------------- ! Band aids were always a must have when we were kids. Whether it was the time you tripped while skipping rope, or fell off the monkey bars, or got into one of those fights with the local bully, "No, that won't do" "What are you talking about, it sounds great so far! It's a lot better than what I can do." "This college essay has absolutely no direction". "Well, why are you telling me to come read it so far? Can't you just ask Josh- I mean, he's smart-" He shot up from his desk. "You know I can't do that!" "Oh yeah. Right, sorry. Look, why don't you ask him out already". Noah blushed furiously. I can't do that. What if he's not... you know... into guys? A-and we're already good friends, I don't want to risk our friendship over this. I saw what he meant. He stopped writing and looked up at me. I asked him, "Would you spend the rest of your life with him?" He sighed and put his hand over his heart. "Of course I would. He means everything to me". "Well, I know you'll take good care of him. Just try to ask him out to the dance. He paused, and smiled. "You know what, maybe I will. Thanks Sadie". "No problemo,'' I grinned. As I turned to leave, he stopped me. "And who might you ask out to the dance?" --- Sadie Hawkins is your average tomboy soccer girl. Her best friend Noah is a good student and a bit of a nerd. As the day of the school dance draws nearer, they are more pressured to ask out the people they like. But what happens if the people they like happen to be their closest friends? "Maybe I'm supposed to let you go, like I tried to, but I can't, because I'll lose the one person I've ever truly loved." Alec frowned as he stared at me. "Don't you think it's time to take a risk?" I asked, surprised by my confidence. "Maybe it is," He nodded in agreement. "What about Tori?" I asked cautiously. "Relax baby girl, I'm all yours," He smiled at me and I smiled back, genuinely happy. "So I was thinking," I started with a smirk. He chuckled, "Okay, okay," He leaned in and pressed his soft lips to mine. ************************************************** When Juliette Greene made a deal with Hampshire High School's bad boy, Alec West, to be his fake girlfriend in order to make it in the music career and to stop Alec's dad from pestering him about settling down.
