It's all gone.
The electricity.
The internet.
At first it's nothing. Just a few blackouts here and there.
But after a week people see that it's more. The gas stations can't provide them with gas.
The grocery store can't contact their food providers.
The schools are dark.
The TVs shows a message, and a terrifying one at that.
The government turned it all off, just to study them all.
But they'll turn it all on. For one simple cost.
They give out a list of names.
A list of names that are people too.
And, of course, those people are our story.

When they run into a girl that claims to be from another planet, the three kids learn about the power given to them and the responsibilities that come along with it. Instantly, they are the most popular people in the galaxy. And for once, popularity couldn't feel more like a curse. Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. And with strange new powers, the teenagers struggle to live in the unfamiliar world they thought they knew so well.Complete

Years ago there was a blackout. One day all the lights went out. The cars stopped running. Electricity no longer existed. Nothing that ran on electricity works anymore. People panicked and tried to survive for as long as they could. Some made it out of cities the others stayed. Our government fell and militias took control. The Monroe militia took over. Then one day he found electricity again. He used it for bad and soon conquered the whole world. Years later our world now runs on electricity again. The Monroe militia is still in power and they force teens to go into an academy to train as merciless killers. This is where I go. One question I always have in mind is, In a world where hope is the only thing we have, Can love exist in the middle of all this war?Complete

"Hello children! It's nice to see you finally awake! Now,i expect you will be wondering what you're doing here? Well, you're about to play a game. It's called blackout. There will only be one survivor and one survivor alone. The rules of the game are; Kill or be killed. You will be let into a room. And in that room somebody will die. You can pick who that person is by killing them yourselves or you can wait until the lights go out at a random time. By the time they come back on somebody will have died. When somebody dies the door to the next room opens. There are seven rooms in total. Have fun!" *** Can i just note that the length of the chapter depends on how quickly the lights go out.
