The Prisoners Of Azkaban

They were evil, simply put.

They were groomed by the Dark Lord himself to be strong, merciless, and power-hungry. Everything they touched turned to ash and everything they wanted, they obtained- no matter the cost. For many months they wreaked havoc upon the wizarding world and brought shame to their families in the process. Many lives lost, many lives altered. Until finally, they surrendered. No one could quite understand why they had given up so easily after many failed attempts to take them down, though all rejoiced at their demise. They were banished to Azkaban, where they belonged.

Until Albus Dumbledore had a feeling, a vision. He decided that these criminals didn't belong in Azkaban, they belonged at Hogwarts.
