Veronica is a well meaning woman who just wants the best for everyone. She is determined to remain optimistic and maintain her sense of normalcy during the pandemic, despite the many obstacles. During quarantine she has somewhat lost her mind and is overly enthusiastic for any kind of human interaction. She ordered 25 pounds of vegan meat to offer her newer neighbors as an excuse for conversation and contact. She has hauled the 25 pound box to her neighbors door as a conversation starter.

One introvert plus one extrovert and a quarantine order forcing them to stay in an apartment for a unknown amount of time is a recipe for disaster. Or so Virgil thinks. He's a quiet college student who lives an apartment close to campus because he rather not risk random placement. When his friend is looking for another roommate he gracefully accepts. After almost two years of living with the same people, he has some strong opinions. One of those is how much he dislikes Roman. Now he's stuck with him in a three bedroom apartment and he doesn't even have the buffers there to prevent arguments. After a few weeks, though is he truly feeling the same way? Has he always hated Roman or was he just trying to avoid his actual feelings about his roommate? *This is a AU that has to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the quarantine situation, it won't have anything too bad about the disease but it will have mentions of it. They are also in college so there might be adult situations and mentions of alcohol. Everyone's voice is funny when they hear it recorded, right? Anyway, he's like one of the only people who hasn't turned into a zombie since the outbreak, and even he has no idea how that happened. He thinks it's gross to eat people too. But he also thinks it's gross to eat pigeons and rats, so there's that. And now that they've found each other in the wasteland, Levon's plan is to carry Eve with him across the country to the army shelter in New York that totally exists and will save them both. Eve's plan is to keep her eyes from rolling into her skull every time Levon opens his mouth.Complete
