Alejandro grew up on the Southside of Chicago his family lived on 85th and Aberdeen once a peaceful nieghborhood but has sense turned into gang territory. He is a half Cuban and Puerto rican African American teenage boy. His father was put in jail when he was just a young boy never got a chance to really see him or hear from him. His mother works constantly he has a older brother and a little sister. He has experience struggle at a young age and he understands what it's like to grind and hustle. Because gang activity is so high in his neighborhood he has joined a gang things for Alejandro has never been easy but suddenly things changed and are starting to work out for the better. He joins the basketball team gets a full ride scholarship to several different universities and joins the NBA all while meeting his soul mate. Alejandro stories tells us that even in our darkest of times we can still find the light and achieve our desires and goals.
