A troubled and internally oriented Filipino American, Lyka Constantino, undergoes a life of her own personal despair. Never holding up to her family name or grades in an ignorant town, she seeks for more than the ghost within her oriental skin desiring the meaning of her existence... In her pursuit she finds a companion in Damien Willows, a mystery rebel that makes her heart leap. But trouble brews outside their little world. Fate is the ultimate opponent.
