Makoto Naegi hadn't meant to drive Sayaka Maizono to suicide. He'd thought he was encouraging her, helping her change her life. He found out too late how wrong he was.
Nobody knew it was his fault. Until Byakuya Togami found her suicide note and decided he could use it to his advantage, that is. There's only one way his life won't be ruined: if he listens to Byakuya's request. And it's something he never would've expected.

Heads Up: This is a Next Generation AU for the series Danganronpa. Satoshi Ikusaba, the Ultimate Strategist, had a plan on how his first day would go- he made sure to prepare for ANYTHING that could happen. Breakfast before school? Check. School supplies ready? Check. Getting him and his step-sister to school on time? Check. Passing out at the front of the school and waking up in a weird hotel with no idea how he got there? Check... Except the only problem is that the last bullet point wasn't on his list, or even something he took into account in the first place!
