The Tenebris Academy trains the next generation of villains, not just to master their abilities but to challenge the flawed morality of the so-called heroes.

Kael, a soft-hearted dragon, never wanted to follow the path of villainy. Yet, his mother, a powerful white dragon and a member of the Board of Wickedness, sent him to the academy for his protection. Now, joined by a ragtag group of outcasts-including Kiko, a celestial kitsune seeking revenge; Reiko, an ocean kitsune with a sharp tongue and a gentle soul; Wei, a mischievous demon bunny with a knack for trouble; Hael, the aloof yet terrifying descendant of the dark god Zane; Merin, a serene selkie torn between two worlds; and Iode, a regal griffin spy whose allegiance wavers-the group must navigate their dangerous, divided world.

This world consists of three main regions:
