It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. Oh Sweet Revenge
Rosalind is dead. But Andreas lived and he was going to take some sweet old revenge on who he thought were his friends and family. But seeing his old partner taking his son away from him, letting him die while fighting Rosalind and seeing that same man having won the fight over who gets to have Farah - still a gorgeous and graceful brat - his actions were clear. His goal was to destroy Saul by taking what he loved the most. Oh how excited he was for her screams and sobs, as well as for her gorgeous body finally being his.
