Being an illegitimate daughter, Violet doesn't get much choices in life. Her dad being the only human duke living in the vampire empire, was sent an invitation for his daughter, Hannah, to attend the autumn ball for the three royal princes and other nobles to choose a bride. Given the fact that Violet is an illegitimate daughter, she doesn't have the right to participate. In fact, not many people know of her existence. Her pale skin and hair stands out everywhere she goes, being the reason why she's always kept inside the house and never allowed outside. Will Violet take part of the autumn ball? How will things turn out when Violet figured out that things might not all what they seemed to look?
