Found a novel I started while working graveyard stocking shelves at what could only be described as hell. Writing this because I need a break from querying my picturebooks. Massive leap from picture books to adult fiction? Science fiction? Idk let me know. Also, I'm not editing. This is purely for fun.
Synopsis: an unhappy big box worker dies in an accident during an argument with her husband. When her soul wakes she's greeted by a disgruntled secretary welcoming her to hell, complete with a welcome bag and a mentor. The biggest problem is, no one knows if its actually hell or not. No one has seen God or Lucifer. Everyone whos ever died just shows up and is assigned a job and an apt. After years of living the same subpar life she lived on earth MC has had enough and is determined to find God or overthrow Lucifer as the ruler of hell.

This is a full length novel I wrote between the years of 2014-2017, my writing style has been all over the place through those years since I started writing it since I was 15 and ended it when I was 18. 3rd in devil as of July 9th 2018 62th in heaven as of June 25st 2020 61th in soul as of June 25st 2020 I can't see their faces because the lights are blinding my eyes but I know that there's many people out there. She reads out into a microphone "The human soul name bliss, female, age 24, death unknown, and sin unknown." She pauses and looks at me then puts down my paper and speaks to the crowd "She doesn't remember anything about being alive so she is an oddity and a collectible. Shall we start the biding at 10000 hellions". All the sudden many voices shout out some low deep voices some high voices and some don't even sound like voices just gurgles. The woman who read my paper seems to be able to keep track and calls out the highest bidder. "Do I hear 65000?" Less voices shootout but they're still too many that I can't pick out. I'm being sold? Read to find out more. This is a romance supernatural book of my own making, its mine by copy right, all rights reserved! I also respond to almost all comments! Five young adults from the same area die from similar causes and all end up in the same place, Hell. The Sins they have committed are minor, but they're enough to get them into the Eternal Shit House. The Devil comes to each of them in many forms and hands them each individual tasks they must perform to see where they belong in Hell. Some have accepted their fate and work hard to be one of His Greats. Others try finding an escape and a second chance at Life and Heaven. If they fail these tasks, they're stuck back in line with no short cuts. May be a tad confusing to read because the perspectives bounce from first to third person depending on who's narrating.
