Found a novel I started while working graveyard stocking shelves at what could only be described as hell. Writing this because I need a break from querying my picturebooks. Massive leap from picture books to adult fiction? Science fiction? Idk let me know. Also, I'm not editing. This is purely for fun.
Synopsis: an unhappy big box worker dies in an accident during an argument with her husband. When her soul wakes she's greeted by a disgruntled secretary welcoming her to hell, complete with a welcome bag and a mentor. The biggest problem is, no one knows if its actually hell or not. No one has seen God or Lucifer. Everyone whos ever died just shows up and is assigned a job and an apt. After years of living the same subpar life she lived on earth MC has had enough and is determined to find God or overthrow Lucifer as the ruler of hell.

The Sins they have committed are minor, but they're enough to get them into the Eternal Shit House. The Devil comes to each of them in many forms and hands them each individual tasks they must perform to see where they belong in Hell. Some have accepted their fate and work hard to be one of His Greats. Others try finding an escape and a second chance at Life and Heaven. If they fail these tasks, they're stuck back in line with no short cuts. May be a tad confusing to read because the perspectives bounce from first to third person depending on who's narrating. This is my first story, and I'm writing this mostly for fun, so don't get mad if it's not on par with all these gods of writing. Meet Angel, a girl just trying to get by in this living torture she calls a life. Being abused by her father, and living life in constant fear, she does her best to get by. What happenes when she tries to get away from all the hardship, but only ends up finding more? And maybe even finding someone that can save her from her own misserable life. Note from future self: This story is extremely cringy and only gets worse as it goes on. When I was writing it there was a whole bunch of other stuff going on so I was rushing away too much to actually get it done. Content warning: Contains graphic descriptions and extreme violence. Hi all this is my first attempt actually to write a fanfiction so bare with me and i hope my writing won't suck. Usually inspiration comes from music or tv shows and movies or just general.Therefore we can always use our imagination. Some parts are ofcourse made up. Nothing to do with real life. My OC is human and exact like Dante (personality i mean) who can keep up with him and their stories are actually the same.One day she decides to go into his shop and meet him and ask for his help.What will it happen? Could she really be his soulmate? Or just another friend? The story is inspired mainly from the events of Devil May Cry 5 and based on a twitter RP with a different plot.
