Ellison watched as Matthew threw the football at one of his friends. It was a perfect throw, of course, he was the quarterback of the school's team. When they were little he use to drag Ellie around, making her play football with him. And even when she didn't want to she'd still do it because that's what best friends were for.
Now as she walked by them he didn't even glance her way. She never understood why he stop being her friend, but he did. And now it's as if she didn't even exist. Like she never meant anything to him.
