In this crazy, science fiction story there is a little boy named Gray. Though he looks and feels human, He's the total opposite. He has a power inside him, that allows him to become a shadow demond. He only turns into the shadow when protecting either his father (Cursious) or someone else who is really close to his heart. Later in the story things start to get rough. Gray begins killing people for nothing, which in responce pushes Cursious into extremes. Will Gray ever be good? Will he ever actually become human? Find out by reading the chapters.

Kids at school are cruel, they bully her brutally just because she's different. She simply waits for everything to get better, after all what's the point in trying when the world will do whatever they can to drag you down. Her only escape from this twisted reality is a creature named Shadow. A terrifying creature that is somehow more humane than the so-called humans around her. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended.
