Five boys. A teen who was kicked from his house because he's transgender. A boy who doesn't reveal much of anything about his past, provided he has one at all. Twins who ran away from home. And the smallest of them all, a (mostly) silent kid whose mom vanished.
From five to fifteen, all these boys have one thing in common: they share a father in the form of Emile Picani. When fate brings them together, Emile and his husband Remy will have to figure out how to help these kids who keep dropping at their doorstep.
Slowly, this unlikely group starts to form into a family. But will Emile and Remy let Logan transition? What exactly happened to Roman? Will Patton and Virgil be able to reach out beyond each other for help? And where exactly does Dee fit in?

[Completed] Sanders Sides human au fanfic. Twin brothers Virgil and Patton Novas have moved around a lot thanks to their father's job. From their father's home country, and their birth place, of Cabo Verde to their mother's country of birth, Ireland. From Ireland to Massachusetts. From Massachusetts to Arizona. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. Patton Picani is the Heart of the group, knowing each man's identity and trusting them each with his own identity. It's not an easy task knowing who everyone is and being known by everyone when your goal is to keep the city safe and keep peace within a group built on secrets and lies. What happens though, when the heart of the group goes missing? Will they be able to keep it together? Will they fall apart? Will the darkness that threatens to take over the city be too tempting to some as they do everything within their power to bring back the one person who can keep them all safe and sane?
