Seventeen year old Sierra Gwynn has a hard life. She has witnessed her parents' violent divorce, had to stay with her alcoholic father, had been bullied all her life, and is practically alone. When it all gets too much for her, she calls her mother. On the phone, her mother sets up a flight to go move in with her in London. Sierra has always felt lonely and feels that she will never find love or even someone to just be her friend. Being bullied has been happening to her ever since she could remember. But will all of that change when she moves in with her mother? Or will it get worse? What will happen when she bumps into a certain boy band? How will they treat her? How will Sierra like it in London? Will she make any friends?

When Niall was five, his uncle tried to abuse him, and Niall caught him on fire. When he was eleven, a bully tried to punch him, and Niall found himself at home within the second without moving muscle. When Niall was sixteen, his mum told him the truth, and he found himself at a whole new school with a whole lot of weird people. When Niall was five, he learned that he was special. Then he learned that other people were, too. When Niall is sent to a new school, all the way in London, he never expects to meet people like him. No one there is normal, but still, Niall doesn't fit in. As the only child of the King, Niall has to make a decision: keep his true self a secret or come out to the world? Even with his secret, Niall befriends many people in the school, but he soon realizes that everything is not what it seems. When a mysterious prophecy is revealed, Niall and his friends have to act quickly before their time is up. Sometimes you don't want to be treated like Royalty.
