    The Reader is originally from the modern world, and when she was born her parents had named the Old Norse God Loki her godfather. And at the age of five her parents die in a plane crash, and the Old God takes his role as her godfather very seriously. So he sweeps her away and hides her from her world by taking her back in time, to he Viking age. Knowing he couldn't raise the mortal girl himself he chooses to leave her in the care of a certain boat builder.
    
    At the age of eight she meets the infamous Ragnar Lothbrok, and his young son Björn. (Y/n) is intrigued by the young boy the second she laid her eyes on him, knowing deep down he was destined for greatness. While Björn on the other hand is unimpressed by the young girl, mostly due to the fact that she was Flokis child.
    
    But as the years go by and they both grow into adulthood, they find themselves infatuated with eachother. Of course Ragnar and Floki both approve of this union, but neither of them can't help but worry by how often the young adults are found naked in a tangle of limbs.

    Notes : Okay so I'm changing the reality of a lot of things, as many Fanfics do. And in this story Ragnar doesn't go to England in the end, and get himself killed, he didn't run off and isolate himself from the world either.
