Ivy is a 14 year old girl who is very different from any other girl. She is called a Winged One and she is half bird/half human. Her father left her when she was younger and she flies from Australia all the way to New York to find him. In New York she meets a homeless boy named Jay whom she experiences the interesting side of New York with. Will she give up her identity for love or will she return with her dad to Australia?
