Except for Percy.
Injured, broken and alone, Percy barely leaves his cabin. Will and Nico, two of the few survivors, desperately try to encourage him. But it never works. He only lives for his visits from Rachel. But one day, even those turn sour.

Everyone Deserves to be Happy (Solangelo)
Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). This is also still a first draft, so you know, it's not perfect. All rights go to Rick Riordan the troll who stoll (geddit?) my life. The first chapter is based on a some fanart (it was a cartoon) I read but the rest are my own ideas. Also, the original image on the cover is not something I drew (I wish). It's Viria's. Lost in the darkness (Pernico/Percico)
Nico di Angelo, son of Hades, has looked death straight in the eyes with complete confidence, not wavering a bit. But when it comes to a certain son of the sea god, Nico can't seem to hold himself together. The 7 and Nico have just defeated Gaea and are on there way back to camp half-blood. Nico tries to tell himself his feelings for Percy are gone but soon realizes he's only fallen deeper in love when he sees something he shouldn't have. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Will you Nico di Angelo, make me the happiest man on earth and go out with me?" The small boy grabbed at my sweater, his hands angled in it. I let myself be pulled down, his back hitting the sand the same moment my palms did. Together we prevail
"The other side Nico! We will see you there. Understand?" Nico's eyes widened. "But-" "Lead them there!" Percy shouted. "Promise me!" „I-, I will." Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down. All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone. Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react. The next thing he knew, he was falling too. OR Three demigods fall into Tartarus after finding the statue of Athena Parthenos. For better or worse, it is not the first time for Nico. This fic will contain themes and mentions that may be triggering, please read the warnings and tags I used and proceed at you own discretion.
