Adopted by pro hero Midnight, Izumi studied medicine at the tender age of six, her genius intellect guiding her on her way. In a world where quirks define heroism, Y/N Mizushima faces an uphill battle-not just against villains, but against her own self-doubt. Born into a family with a legacy of water-based quirks, Y/N struggles to live up to the expectations set by her retired pro-hero mother while contending with her father's deep fears of losing her to the dangers of hero life. Her quirk, the ability to manipulate water, holds untapped potential, but it often slips out of control, leaving her feeling like a wave crashing against an immovable shore. Accepted into U.A. High School, Y/N is thrust into the competitive and high-stakes world of hero training alongside her peers in Class 1-A. Between grueling exams, terrifying villain attacks, and the mounting pressure to master her unpredictable quirk, Y/N's journey is anything but easy. Along the way, she forms deep friendships with her classmates, including the determined and selfless Izuku Midoriya, whose own struggles inspire her to keep pushing forward. As Y/N's quirk begins to evolve, so too does her bond with Izuku, though their relationship remains clouded by the ever-present dangers of hero work and the emotional walls they've both built. Through battles, personal growth, and moments of vulnerability, Y/N must learn to balance the expectations of her family with her own desires to become a hero worthy of standing alongside the best. But with each new challenge, Y/N finds herself at the mercy of her own rising tides-pushing her to the brink of her abilities and forcing her to confront the question: will she learn to control the waters within, or will they drown her dreams of becoming a hero? ⚠ 𝚆𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐: This story will have spoilers, trigger warnings for later on things that may or may not come across as offensive, and a lot of plot changes as I am aiming to create originality while keeping the basic things intact.

Izuku was a strange child, when he was a kid he found out he had a quirk but the doctors had no idea what it was or how it worked. Because of this he tried everything he could think of to try make his mom's or dad's quirks work but absolutely nothing did. As he was slowly pushed away by everyone except for his mother, he had no one, no friends or anything, because of this he gained the hobby of drawing to help him cope with the loneliness. Years passed by and he finally accepted that he was quirkless and because of that everyone all but increased in the bullying making Izuku even more isolated. But then one day something changed when after he was bullied and he was at home drawing, his quirk finally showed itself. @JaydenFleisher writes the description for each chapter and I write the story itself
