You live with your uncle, Tadaomi Karasuma after your mother and father died. You were originally in Class A of Kunugigaoka Junior High School, but your uncle told you about a creature that will destroy Earth if he wasn't killed before graduation. Thus, he transferred you to Class E. He told you that Class E didn't really have much confidence in killing him, since they were labelled as the "End Class."
