I can assure you they are not, there's no finding your place or finding a true mate. You are put into a position you fill and can fit. Any male can apply for a mate and they a suited with the best candidate according to alphas rule. On rare situations the elders will come down from the high sacred temples and intervene. For when the moon goddess tells them to create a specific partnership for a mate request.
I sound disrespectful, and its not that I don't believe in our history and ways. Just sometimes I question the order of things round here.
