Ever since he met the alien wanderer/schoolteacher called the Doctor, fourteen-year-old Shinji Ikari's life has only gotten crazier by the day. With the Doctor's help, he's survived getting press-ganged as a child soldier in a war for humanity's survival, alien invasions, zombie attacks, fourth-dimensional tactics, the origin of all life on Earth, and even the wrath of his fellow pilot Asuka. I made this as canonically correct as possible, pulling each Doctor and his corresponding companion from episodes to make this possible, but if you catch me in an error... I claim AU! Ha ha. It is for all intents and purposes a Capaldi episode, within his first season, long before Face the Raven. This is a Doctor Who fanfic for superfans only, as the entire first section only describes each Doctor by his attire, so you have to guess which is which by their apparel and companions. If you aren't familiar with each and every Doctor, this story will get very confusing. That being said, I hope you enjoy!
