When Adonis' sister Petal turnes out to be a Flamesilk, his whole world is turned upside down. For two years, they are prisoners in the Flamesilk cavern. But when Petal is killed in their escape attempt, Adonis is truly alone. 
    Time passes, and Adonis makes new friends, and new enemies.
    But when the Chrysalis gets word Petal might still be alive, Adonis has to leave his new life behind to rescue her.
