He also stopped walking when his onyx black eyes met with her green ones.

Their very first eye contact with each other 

A powerful connection burst to life... as if it was being renewed from sleeping in centuries 

She blushed furiously while he, on the other hand, snapped his gaze away.
'I must AVOID her at all cost!'
He muttered in annoyance, making a promise to himself.

Oh, boy! Little did he know that he will break that promise someday... because destiny already interlocks their HEART AND SOUL, since that fateful encounter.

Kakashi murmured, Naruto grabbed Sasuke's arms and pinned them to his sides. Everyone knew Sasuke was about to act irrationally. Sasuke was wordless, he didn't know what to do. His mind raced. They couldn't catch up to Karin? They couldn't save her? He knew there was something they weren't telling him. "What the fuck.... you told me she was safe in this damn village!" Sasuke yelled. He pulled against Naruto, trying to free himself. "You told me to trust you damn it!" "Naruto..." Kakashi murmured. "I'm sorry Sasuke..." He mumbled from behind him.
