Poppy is a 16 year old girl. Her brother, Ben, is 9 and they were both in a fire which killed their family. They didn't know in the beginning but they were born into a magical family. Ben at the age of 7 accidentally turned a jerk at school into a wolf and told Poppy about it. He already has his powers but Poppy... she doesn't. When they are taken to stay at a 'close' family friends house they are introduced to the whole mythical world. Both good and bad. When things get heated Poppy decides to leave with Ben.
