Elijah and Grayson are the school homophobes and bullies. They had been best friends since year 4, helping each other the dark times. Bulling was almost a blanket to cover any suspicion of their abusive life. They both grew up in overly religious homes where even talking to anyone apart of lgbtq+ would get them punished. So being in it themselves would result in a horrible punishment.
They were forced to go to church every Sunday and were taught that being gay was a sin, where you'd go to hell for.
