The story 'The Amendment' is basically about the character Stary Glide. A girl who is ambitious, soft-heartened and belongs to average background family. She is subservient, poised and surefooted but the life has some hazardous things in store. After being so courteous eventually she ends up being hurt. She was always happy with what she had but after being disarmed by her loved ones, she thinks of making amendments in her disturbing and not so happening life.

so she takes the initiative and becomes the most successful entrepreneur. but do you think was it that easy.
