Sweet Dreams: A Modern Fairytale
This is inspired by a writing project I supervised when I worked with an elementary student. This writing project was a group project to make their own spin on a fairy tale assigned to the group. It had to have all the main points of their fairy tale, start and and with the common phrases of a fairy tale, and it had to have their own creative spin. My student did Cinderella, and it was so fun to work with him and his group, I wanted to make my own. Our dear Cinderella loves to bake, but she's not exactly looking for love when an opportunity to make a name for herself comes up.
