Happy Halloween, friends of Ozette's. This is a redo of a story I posted for Ozette's online friends last year. I have updated it and hope you will enjoy it. Here's some background: Gizmo is a gray squirrel Ozette has taken in and is not much more than a baby. Ozette and friends found the chipmunks while at the beach. The trio was floating in a coconut shell dressed as pirates, shouting, “Shiver me timbers!” Unfortunately, they were dining on the coconut meat and in danger of sinking. Ozette, at Gizmo's pleading, took pity on them and brought them back to her forest. Please note that although Gizmo and the three mischievous chipmunks are not in Ozette's Destiny, I plan to introduce them in the second book. So grab a cup of steaming cider, sit by a roaring fire and enjoy Gizmo's First Halloween.

It's finally time to write my first Ice Age story! Yay! Anyways, in this story, it has been a few years after Ice Age: Collision Course. The Herd is preparing for Diego and Shira's wedding. Peaches and Julian had a son named Jacob. Now, they're expecting another baby. Meanwhile, the Adventurous Crusaders are also preparing for a welcoming party for a child. Who else is expecting a baby? That's right! Zack and Ayumi! Buck and Willow are not the only weasels left. Yes! There's more! Their chief named Caribbean wants to kill different species for perfection. He even wants to crash parties especially Diego & Shira's wedding and the welcoming party of Zack and Ayumi's child. His daughter, Princess Prima B. Caribbean doesn't want it to happen because she loves being friends with every kind of animal. The Herd must find a way to stop him. Meanwhile, the AC must find a way to figure out who stole presents for Zack and Ayumi's child and convince Prima to join their team and eventually, the Herd. Along the way, two teams will end up meeting each other. They journey together and discover things. There are also things that you don't know about the Adventurous Crusaders and their realizations. A high-pitched, pain-stricken scream. Like a hawk. That was the sound that echoed through the gloomy sky that evening. The furious clouds banged their drums and distributed fireworks in preparation of the godly tantrum to come, animals of the forest safely tucked away in their little homes. Everything was so quiet until the hawk. A large bird of sorts, you saw it, falling from the sky. Except that it soon errupted into light, like flames, like a meteor. Like a shooting star that was strayed by attraction through gravity in its passage from the east to the west. What you'll find here is just about that. Title says it all. Different problems are making their bonds weaker, almost breaking apart. Will they put their grudges aside and end up defeating the Rejected Critters? Or one misstep may lead to their downfall? Hostage. Prisoner. What ever you wish to call it. They won't let me nor my friends leave. Taken by a cannibalistic family and claimed I was being adopted into their family. I already have a family of my own. And what of my friends that's with me? They're the main course. In the little town of Norbury, Canada, there have been several people disappearing without a trace. A couple of my colleagues and I decided to do a news article and discover the reasons for all the missing people. However I never realized the horrors that would await us in the quiet little town.
