The Song of Deirdre Part I by lhogue

Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. I'm hoping that writing this fanfic will be a bridge to doing more of my own fiction.

Well how do I explain this? The best and simplest answer would be that I don't know what happened at all. All I was doing was studying for an exam and here I was in a forest on the next one! Of course I was familiar with the term of transmigration but did this make sense? NO! So what the hell is going on? Who am I? Where am I?! And to make matters worse, I just found myself in a damn world filled with monsters, beasts, magic and demons. This was not what I was expecting to happen at all! This was all a nightmare and to top it off inside a book, one that I hated as well..... Screw IT and FATE! No one is telling me what to do!
