The mafia in Italy has been long exterminated. Diavolo is just a guy with MPD, however he does get treated by a therapist regularly. His daughter, Trish takes care of him. Giorno is a pickpocketer, he steals money off a fish seller however is caught by police Abbacchio. The fish seller, Bruno being as kind as he is lets Giorno take the money.  La squadra is just a group of roomates, Melone being a programmer, Ghiaccio working at an ice skating rink, Formaggio and Illuso working at fast food places, Prosciutto helping Pesci get a job and you know, Sorbet and Gelato being gay ;)
