We already know the story that Rory wrote about her life with her mother, but what if she left someone out? Someone who would put a damper on her mostly light-hearted story and maybe even shift the story's plot entirely. 

This is the story of that someone, Elton Abigail Davies. The Chilton student was trying to get through her life before Rory Gilmore stumbled into her life and started the makings of a couple of cracks.
