Synopsis:
Amity Blight's relationship with Luz Noceda takes a turn upon meeting a mysterious stranger who reveals that he knows about Amity's secret crush on Luz.
Introduction:
This was my VERY FIRST fanfiction! I wrote Two Queens, Two Hearts: A Lumity Story to deal with the hiatus after the first season of The Owl House ended. I initially intended to write the first two chapters only, but then I got a bunch of new ideas about how Lumity and the overall arc of TOH could develop. I picked up where the first season left off, and I wrote as much as possible. However, when the second season of TOH started airing, I thought it better to let Dana Terrace and the TOH team tell their story their way. I have also decided to write original stories and begin pursuing a career as a professional writer because of all the tremendous praise I got for writing this story, plus all the fun I had writing it!
TQTH is mainly a romance story. Our young heroines will have to face a brief threat, but the narrative will primarily focus on Luz and Amity's relationship, so get ready for some sappy, sapphic stuff! I hope you enjoy it!

Amity finally found the courage to confess her feelings to Luz, only for it to end in disaster. As Amity tries to deal with this rejection Luz struggles to comprehend her feelings for Amity. In the wake of her heartbreak Amity meets a new girl attending Hexide who might just love her in the way Luz doesn't. Alongside this Amity is desperate to escape the abuse of her parents, but with no where to turn she is losing hope fast. Will Luz figure out how she feels for Amity in time? Or will the duo remain little more than friends forever onward? This story takes place after episode 17 but episode 18 and 19 never happened in this AU and Amity never broke her leg. Amity's breath hitches in her throat, and she doesn't speak. "Can I kiss you?" Luz asks, her breath tickling Amity's lips. Without any hesitation Amity nods her head yes, her eyes still wide. She couldn't believe it. Was this actually happening or was she dreaming? Luz looks at Amity again, obviously nervous. She doesn't seem to move, so Amity does instead. She cups Luz's face with her hands and gently brings her closer, pressing her lips against Luz's. The hybrid lets out a muffled squeak of surprise, but doesn't pull away or try to stop Amity. After a moment Amity releases Luz and covers her mouth with her hand, her cheeks tinted pink. Luz says nothing, and her ears lower, the tips of them red.
