Where glitter is gold

After an unfortunate incident in the desert that was called infamous, Alexandra finds herself in an enemy's land with a king on which not even his own people depend. She can't understand why her parents didn't come to get her, nor does she understand why, she herself being a royal princess and all, couldn't use her authority here in Kredian. She knows she is still very young, and cannot understand the way of adults entirely; and yet, she can't help but be helpless.

Ash, a young king, has much - frankly, far too much - on his plate. The sudden arrival of an unfortunate child took him by surprise and even more so when he learns about her birthright. He now wonders what exactly he thinks of looking at the daughter of the man who killed his father by his bare hands.

As their tangled past unravels and they learn more about what shadows seek to haunt them, we see, too, the beautiful friendship that blossoms between the two like a spring flower.
