I'm no longer working on this story. Truth be told, I don't like it. I kept telling myself that once I got it started I'd sort of warm up to it, but at this point I've given up on it. She keeps her costume secret every year to keep bullies from discovering who she is. But they aren't the only ones who are unaware.
