(PORT) Na Califórnia de 1985, duas amigas de infância, Shirley e Barbara vivem uma vida relativamente normal como duas estudantes de 17 anos, até que passam por turbulências em sua relação, que faz com que as meninas se separem e vivam vidas completamente distintas, até suas mortes. Mas quando reencarnam, têm a chance de então cumprirem uma promessa mútua e de poder finalmente viver em paz, deixando seus sentimentos correrem livres e aflorarem, esses que haviam sido interrompidos em tempos passados, sem que as mesmas sequer tivessem alguma lembrança disso.
