Mahina, like most teens her age, got out of school for 2 weeks for "safety precautions". 2 weeks turned into 2 months, which turned into 2 years. Soon before she knew it, her city like others were under martial law. Instead of staying in her home and dying, her and her friends travel cross country to somewhere safer, without infection and corruption.
She meets new people, while losing people in the process. Crosses path with good and evil, attempting to find balance in incongruous world. After thinking the infection was accidental, the narrative shifted completely. How will her and her friends take this? What will they do?
Only time will tell.
