MARKED MATURE FOR STRONG LANGUAGE
A tale of a group of pirates on the ship the Pride Pearl. Thomas Sanders is the captain, as he inherited the ship from his Aunt Patty. From there, he gathered a crew.
Patton, age 19, was the first to join. They're very fatherly and go through the struggle of gender identity before finding themself.
Next, Virgil, 22, who was kidnapped by other pirates when he was 19 and later escaped to Thomas's crew.
Then Janus came. He's 19, has a half-snake face, and a tendency to lie. But somehow, Patton falls in love with him.
After him came Remy, Thomas's little half-brother, who is 23 with a caffeine addiction and a lot of sass.
After Remy came Logan, 23, a smart mouth, and Virgil's ex-boyfriend. He and Virgil are on better terms but are still passive-aggressive towards each other.
Then came the twins, Roman and Remus. 21 and chaotic. Roman loves singing and Remus is good at befriending seagulls.
Finally, Emile joins. They're 24 and genderfluid. Also, a very good therapist for the ship, helping everyone work through their problems.

It was pouring the first day of school. Roman was driving along the road when he saw a frightened Virgil backing away from a stranger. Though he was warned to not help outcasts, he had to. As the four become closer, they learn to face their problems head on together. Logan and Patton are the parents of the adopted 3 year old twins Remus and Roman. Dean (Deceit) is a single father of adopted 3 year old Virgil, who just moved in to the house across the street. Virgil, though only 3, deals with extreme anxiety, he's a slow learner so he doesn't talk very much and rarely, if not ever, leaves Dean's side and has developed trust issues and PTSD due to the incident that caused them to move in the first place. Unfortunately due to the new circumstances, Dean now has to work so that they can afford to live and is unable to afford for Virgil to go to daycare. Since Patton is a stay at home dad and was very friendly the first time meeting, Dean puts Virgil in his care also hoping that it will help Virgil with his social skills and being around other kids his age. Virgil, the love of Prince Roman's life got banished. Three years later the Light Sides and The Dark Sides go into war. When his parents, the King and Queen of the Light Kingdom, found out they banished Virgil, sending him to the Dark Kingdom. Neither had forgotten and they only want each other back, how can they save both kingdoms and get each other? Patton, Roman's younger brother gets pulled into a plan. Boy x Boy. If you don't like this kinda stuff then don't read it. Only rated mature for foul language, a lot of cursing, blood, gore, violence, mentions of self harm, abuse, and other deep topics. If this makes you uncomfortable or triggers you then don't read it! Virgil is a poor peasant under the curse of an evil warlock who only goes by the name Deceit. Roman, the young and popular dashing king is lonely and is in search of a queen or king. The two bump into each other on accident and worlds collide between the two. Roman suddenly feels like he has company and Virgil has a new feeling he can't describe. When Virgil's master finds out it only brings hell for the star-cross lovers with a curse and a whole lot of trouble standing in the way between the two. Disclaimer: I don't own any of Sanders sides characters, they all belong to Thomas Sanders, I don't own the very little art in here, or the songs I use, OR any of the photos I found on safari... all that's mine is the story plot. (P.s. this story IS finished, the only way I'll be updating this is for announcements or A/N (a.k.a author notes) so if you have finished this story and are waiting for another chapter even tho I CLEARLY labeled the end.
