Prince Roman of the Ironfelt Kingdom is well known for being a heroic, flirtatious man. Everyone respects him, and sees him as a mighty hero, however as much of a hero he is, he's lonely. His only real friend is his Royal Assistant Logan Crofters. Lord Virgil Anxiety of the Dark Forest is the ruler and protector of the dark forest. He's known more as a legend/myth to everyone outside the dark forest, or as a evil, vious ruler. But to the creatures in the forest, he's a kind, lonely protector that just needs a little love. His only friend is a village boy that visits him named Patton Morre. Two completely different lives, but maybe, just maybe one completly similar love. #1 in Prince Roman and Winged Virgil(July 16, 2019) (I do not own Roman, Virgil, Logan, Patton or Deceit. They all belong to Thomas Sanders. Ocs may be presented at certain times but only for plot reasons, such as Roman's parents, or townsfolk.) The Wizard and The Serpent (A Beauty and the Beast/Sanders Sides AU)
Janus Viper was once a handsome king, a cruel ruler that ruled his Kingdom with an iron fist. Even though he had everything he ever wanted since he was born (except, perhaps, love) he taxed his people relentlessly in order to fill his castle with the most beautiful objects, and his parties with the most powerful people. One day, a weak and homeless old man visits Janus, seeking shelter from the storm. Janus turns the man away, repulsed by his appearance, and as punishment, a curse is placed on Janus and his castle. Janus is turned into a monster, with six arms, claws, venomous fangs, and scales covering half of his body. The servants of the castle and all his guests were turned into furniture, as punishment for sitting by and doing nothing while the Prince grew into the cruel King he is today. However, there is a cure for the curse. If Janus can learn to truly love another and be loved in return, the curse will be cured. As the years went by, the castle and everyone in it became forgotten, and Janus lost hope. For who could ever love someone as cold and monstrous as him? Meanwhile, in a small village nearby, a Wizard named Logan Foster is looked down on by his town for his startling intelligence, difficulty in social situations, and his practices of magic. That doesn't deter Roman Prince from attempting to court Logan, however, because even if he is odd, Logan is the most handsome man in the village, and Roman has always enjoyed a challenge. Not wishing for his son to be alone, Patton Foster agrees to give Roman his blessing. Logan, who doesn't wish to get married, runs away from home. He plans to build a cabin in the forest and live the rest of his days there, but instead he finds a castle, where he is invited to stay as a guest. (Yes changing the captive part you're welcome) He isn't sure yet who the Castle's Master is, but based on the talking furniture that allowed him to stay here, he assumes it's a fellow Wizard. "I'm sorry, they found a what?" The five years after the passing of King Victor had been very harsh on the kingdom of Eaden. No one would disagree with that. He had been a benevolent ruler and a kind man. But everyone knew that his death had affected his son Thomas the most. Crowned king at the age of 24, and not having expected to rise to the position for years yet, Thomas had struggled to follow in his father's footsteps. He was getting much better, but it took time. He had to thank his three advisors for that. The castle's experienced healer was his physician and confidant, a quick-witted and talented knight had proved his bravery and taken his spot as the kingdom's head of defense, and the tutor who had taught Thomas almost everything he knew as a child became his lead strategist. The three were like family to him, even if their occasional bickering set his nerves on edge. And of course, the constant trouble that seemed to find them. Like now, for example, because King Thomas had just been informed that his Inner Circle had found a body of a young man in the moat of the castle. Roman is a great leader to his kingdom. He is as noble as he can be, loyal to all, and is incredibly generous to his subjects. He is known as one of the best leader his kingdom has ever had. Everyone sees him as this kind, loving, perfect prince that puts his kingdom before himself. But he's actually a lonely, confused prince that wants someone who he can love and they feel the same way. His friend Logan doesn't know what he's feeling because he has no feelings to feel. Logan says that that Roman should focus more on his roll as leader of the kingdom than worry about his 'love life.' Roman starts to believe him for awhile until two men that are Roman's subjects visit the palace to start working for the prince. Roman however notices that one of the men looks gorgeous. He was dressed in black and goes by the name Anxiety. Roman ends up falling for this beautiful gentleman but he doesn't known what he's been through. The Dark Forest
*Completed* With their kingdom is falling apart and in debt, Prince Roman and Prince Remus head out to the Dark Forest with hope that they will find the Heart of Life. With the Heart, they would be able to save their kingdoms crops and pull the kingdom out of the dark days. However, within a few days of traveling through the forest, they are attacked and lost in the forest, with only a servant and knight for company. Mal, a dragon witch, lives in the forest with her two sons, Janus and Virgil. Though the three are powerful, Mal made enemies with the fae who have ever since been trying to kidnap Janus for revenge. Luckily, or maybe unfortunately, they ignore Virgil for the most part since he was adopted. When they cross paths with the humans, things get a bit... messy.
