It has been around 2 years since Mann Co. shut down. The mercs have all retired into domestic lives, with Scout and Miss Pauling settling down and starting a family. Scout also now knows Spy is his real father, creating an even larger barrier between the two. Spy wants nothing more to run away from his past mistakes, as he knows forgiveness is unimaginable.
When Soldier hosts a 4th of July "party" and invites everyone, father and son finally come face-to-face after several months of no contact. Overwhelmed with painful memories and fears of changing his life for the better, can Spy finally face his past and own up to his mistakes?
