Dave and karkat have known each other for a few years now. Beneath karkat's "hatred" for the human Dave Strider there are pal possibly flushed feeling for him though he'll never admit it. Dave on the other hand makes it quite obvious about how he feels about Karkat, and that you ask is just straight bro's...

So if you don't like it please leave /!\WARNINGS/!\: 'mild' language (meaning a lot of cussing lol), bullying, triggers, and CUTE AS FUCK SHIT(eventually) May be other ships such as: Erisol, DirkxJake, Gamtav, Cronkri and slight Rosemary. More ships might come to view as the story goes on Notes: I do not own the Homestuck characters or any pictures, unless said otherwise. I do own the story line though. That Boy (JohnKat)
John is very unfortunate. His dad abuses him He's bullied by his ex-bestfriend But, somehow, Karkat makes it all better. Yeah, all better. t/w: abuse, rape mention, homophobic slurs disclaimer: i wrote this story six years ago when i was ten. i had not yet finished reading homestuck (still haven't tbh but i'm working on it) so EVERYTHING is probably ooc. i have left this completely as it was when posted, aside from a couple chapters that i edited when i was 12ish. those will have a tag at the top saying it was edited. thanks for reading.Concluida
Boys Are Dogs
-cringe warning- i wrote this when i was 15 lmao. the plot's a mess and the writing sucks but i had fun writing it so i decided to keep it up. :) Collin and Derek are seemingly opposite types of people. They both have their own groups of friends, are both on different levels of the social hierarchy, and only ever speak to one another on occasion. What will happen when they become closer and realize that maybe they need each other?Concluida
The Peacekeeper
When the final battle is won, Karkat gets mysteriously thrown into a universe different than the one he was expecting. The worst part? He was all alone. Six long years came and went and most of his friends accepted the fact that he was dead and moved on. However the ever omnipotent being that loves to fuck shit up brought Karkat back just as easily as it took him away. Now Karkat has learn how to live in a world that formed and grew without him while suffering the consequences of six years in another world. [[This is a remake of a fanfic I wrote in 2017, i hope you enjoy]]Concluida
My Knight in Shining Armor (( A Davekat Fanfiction ))
Karkat: "I, Karkat Vantas, have a fucked up home life. Sometimes I wonder why my life turned out the way it did, but other times I figure it is because I haven't been the son my mother wanted. Smart, strong, able to socialize.. Like my brother Kankri. He's not here to deal with our father and the abuse now, and it seems it only happened after he left. Oh God, how I wish I could have gone with him." Dave: I really wasn't glad for this move. Who wants to go from Texas to a town in Washington? That was seriously the total opposite of where I was and I, Dave Strider, along with my brother, Dirk, had made such a move. All my life I had been a good kid, as good as sneaking out and strifing on the roof can get. Now, I was a B average student and worked to keep it that way, though by my actions, people would think I flunk every one of my classes.Concluida
Hey, Vantas? (DaveKat)
Dave Strider, now falling into a deep Depression, believes he has nothing to live for. Locking himself in his room and crying have become two of his few hobbies, and when he isn't alone, moping in his room, he's talking to Karkat Vantas. Karkat has been the only thing keeping him sane... and alive. But, there's something that Dave is completely oblivious to: Karkat has been in love with him for quite some time, and has yet to express how he truly feels. Not before long, Dave slowly begins to realize that maybe, just maybe, being more than friends is an option...Concluida
The Peacekeeper
[[BEFORE YOU READ: it's been years since this fic has been completed but I've recently begun a revisited/rewritten version of it on AO3 as well as here. Look for it on my page or here's the link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/44269315/chapters/111327910 ]] Karkat mysteriously gets thrown into a universe different than the one he was expecting. The worst part is he was alone. For six long years he's gone, his friends accepted the fact that he might be dead. Everyone's moved on. But suddenly, the same beam of light that took him away, brought him right back, but Karkat isn't the same. He might never be the same.Concluida![A Life Made In A Movie. A Life Made In A Movie. A Very Bad Movie [DAVEKAT]
Karkat Vantas. A very unpopular, short, and short-tempered troll. He tries desperately to make it through his first year in a human school, but with everyone still not fully accepting trolls added on with his so-called 'stupid' blood color, he can't find a single person who understands him, yet. Dave Strider. Maybe one of the most popular guys in the school. Nobody knows why he's always wearing those cool ironic shades of his, and most people want to find out. But Dave himself wants his eyes to stay hidden, and nobody else has ever seen them. He thinks that if anyone did, they would make fun of him and his good reputation would immediately disappear. The two, basically opposites, find that they actually might get along and relate to each other. But who knows what a simple sentence could do? (this is my second fanfic and the first homestuck one i've ever written so if the writing sucks don't judge! also none of the art is mine. ships included will most likely be johndave at the beginning, and throughout the fic theres gonna be erisol, rosemary, some jadenep, johndirk, and vrisrezi! if you don't like one or more of these ships deal with it.) (also both of the main sillies are trans if that changes anything. enjoy the fic!!!) (cover art by tgcg on tumblr)Concluida
