The Struggle is Real
WARNING: includes self harm, abuse, cursing, and slurs. Feel free to click off if any of this makes you uncomfortable This is about Jimmy's childhood and his struggles with being gay. He meets Grian in kindergarten and they soon become good friends. As Jimmy grows up, he faces homophobic comments and he gets a big crush on a popular boy named Scott. Scott (Jimmy's pretty sure) is straight and is dating a girl named Katherine. Little did Jimmy know, Scott is gay and has a huge crush on a guy named Owen. Find out what happens as Scott and Jimmy face terrible mental health in middle school. Scott has a homophobic father and past cutting instances and Jimmy has an accepting family and friends, but plenty of homophobic people calling him the f slur. His friends also all are going to be in healthy relationships while Jimmy has a broken heart. Jimmy is also having a hard time at home since his sister has a bad boyfriend and is never happy. This negative energy transfers over to Jimmy as he starts to feel worse. Will things ever get better and work out?? Will Scott get help and finally come out to his parents?? Find out now! Scott crashlands in a lake in the Swamp Empire, hurting his wings in the process. Prince Jimmy finds him sinking and pulls him out of the water. They both determine that Scott definitely can't just fly back to Rivendell, so Jimmy offers to let him stay in the swamp. Scott slowly recovers, and it's enough time for something to bloom between them. All ships are just the characters, not the real people! I did all the art, and it is all mine unless stated otherwise.
