The Darkness That Consumes Us

Everybody has a story. Events that lead up to where you are now, who you are now. Some peoples experiences in life are happy, filled with joy and growth. And some of us have had it so rough that we can't even remember a time where there was light. We are not even sure it was there to begin with. An endless abyss of darkness so suffocating it consumes every part of your existence itself,until there isn't one spot left untouched. This is a story of two fûçked up kids who explored each other's deepest darkest realities and gave each other a spark of hope. A story of learning to love each other, but most importantly loving and accepting themselves. But is all love meant to last forever?

- Andrea Martínez has gone through life, not living but surviving. With a father who went off to fight a war and never came back. To a mother who couldn't bare losing the love of her life and turned to drugs to fill the void he left in her heart. An older brother who tried his best to be enough to raise his little sister, and comes back home with scratches, bruises, and bloody knuckles. All she has ever known is that life isn't fair and you have to deal with the cards you were dealt. She knows not to trust anyone and never get attached. So, what happens when she finally had enough of not knowing where her brother goes off to and follows him? What happens when she starts doing what she loves and meets Marco Rodriguez, the man who instill fear in all his opponents in the ring? Will he break down her walls and see beyond the stoic, problematic , loner girl everyone else see's? Will she be able to accept him for who he is? With his anger issues, tendency to self sabotage, and secrets? Will they teach each other how to love? With a looming threat over Andreas head, will their love be strong enough to get through it? And if it is, will the threat rob them of their happy ending?
