Jurica (J) is forced to spend the summer between high school and college living with her friend Guinevere (G) and her family, after her mum and dad are accused of treason. Once she goes off to college, it starts to become evident, through the people she met, that her parents are not guilty of treason but the Governor of Oakenspell is actually the one trying to overthrow the King of Spaotan.
With her new friends, her best friend G, and G's family, can she keep her friendships she builds, keep her relationship with Willow (Dubs) long term, and can she prove to the King that her family are not the traitors?

Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.Complete

Until a mysterious woman shows up at her doorstep claiming that she is a witch and her entire existence is flipped. With magic comes power and with power comes responsibility. A whole new world of friendship, mysteries and adventures has opened up. But is she strong enough to survive? Because let's face it. No one is ever safe at Hogwarts. **IMPORTANT** This book is very much just an introduction followed by incorporating the new character into the established world and timeline. As the author, I would suggest the following. 1. Read "Philosopher's Stone" (this book) till before the chapter titled "THE JOURNEY FROM PLATFORM NINE AND THREE QUARTERS" 2. Skip the rest. It is merely a telling of what you have already read in canon, just from a different perspective. 3. Move to "The Chamber of Secrets" and start with the chapter titled "TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE." All the chapters before that are, once again, events you would already be familiar with. 4. Finish book 2 and move on to book 3. There on after, you can read normally. This isn't compulsory. It is simply, in my opinion, the best way to enjoy the series. Since I understand that some portions of the first two books are not very different from canon and thus, can seen boring.
