A city named, Sully has teamed up, forging an urgent alliance with another city. Crescent-Port, close by with each-other and both closed their gates, not allowing anyone outside access to either of them as there has been conflicting and distressing reports of a Zombie Apocalypse outbreak.
Will the newly forged bonds, the leaders of both cities have established, hold and are they better leaders who will truly look after their citizens who places their lives in their hands and safeguard them against evil and illness unlike others who we're unfortunate or didn't want too?
Note: There is more to this description, but Wattpad wouldn't let me add it so please head to the 1st page to at-least read the full description and see if it piques your interest. This will be more a romance story than a Zombie Sci-Fi. The Zombie Apocalypse will be just a mild, scene setting tone.

The zombie apocalypse has arrived, the virus has been dubbed as AM13, and the human race is struggling to survive. The Z Contingency
The zombie apocalypse is coming. A scientist at the CDC has that terrifying realization when infected victims start displaying the symptoms predicted by his model. A virus responsible for hemorrhagic fevers is mutating into something that zombifies its victims instead of killing them. Realizing the only hope is to get ahead of it, he sets out to create a vaccine, but to create a vaccine he needs a sample of the virus. He tries to enlist the aid of a colleague to help him create the very virus he wants to eradicate, but she refuses on ethical grounds. Witnessing the horrific transformation of an infected patient forces her to reconsider, but before they can start working on a vaccine, their virus samples are stolen. As they criss-cross the country on a hunt for a cure, the paths of the two scientists cross those of a shadow organization on a secret mission, and a loose-knit network of zombie prepper groups whose loyalties are unclear. After been given false hope that the virus has been dealt with and that what occurred in Raccoon City would never occur again Claire Redfield proves US officials wrong after being attacked in her own home. Being faced with zombies among other creatures again Claire is left with nothing but to face her past. A past she though she had left behind resurfaces as her place of refuge was now another ghost town. Claire's learns far more than she bargained for as the limits are touched. There was more to turn Racoon City tragedy and this is just the beginning of Claire's journey to the truth. Will she survive another nightmare or will she join the team of the undead? We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' . The ones who survived were the last of us. Will the people make it in time? What hardships will they encounter along the way?
