The thrill of the challenge. That's what made him choose the path of the bounty hunter in the first place. Right now, however, there wasn't any rhyme or reason to what he was doing. The only reason was because they needed money. All of them lived under dirt poor condition, moving from place to place on a contsant note. And that wouldn't have bothered Dream, but right now? Right now it felt like the biggest burden.

Dream had destroyed the end portals that were within 1000's of blocks a month before the disappearances and if they died? Game. Over. Scientists developed a new VR like device, they only made 3. With those 3 they needed volunteers but nobody seemed to want to risk it. Tommy decieded to do it for fun and drag Tubbo with him. Can Tommy and Tubbo and one other help Dream and everybody else escape the SMP? Or will somebody else on the inside stop them from beating the game and kill them. This caused his entire way of life to go into turmoil, so why is he willing to risk everything for some random boy he met on the street? ----- (TW!!!!: blood, violence, death, use of weaponry, slight mention of mental manipulation, though not much) if any of these things affect you, DO NOT read on, for they will be periodic themes throughout the entirety of the story.
