Alex Hamilton has never been in the best mind state. He's been through sickness, a hurricane, and foster homes. All of his foster homes have abused him verbally and physically, especially because of his sexuality. Then, he is fostered with the Washingtons.

John Laurens has always been the easiest target at school. His dad rarely comes home, once a month if he feels like it. John has fallen into a deep depression with self-harm. The only people keeping him alive are his friends, but they don't know how bad it is.

When Lafayette introduces Alex and John, they immediately click. John trusted Alex enough to tell him about his depression. Alex slowly tells John everything about his past. Will they be each other's lifesavers?

***Mentioning of Sexuality, Sex, Rape, Abuse, Bullying, Suicide, Depression, Cursing, and Self-harm***

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
