More snow fell last night. It has fallen every night for the last three moon cycles. We had hoped to outrun it but it seems impossible. Every time we move away from one cold patch it seems to follow us. 

The Elder thinks the sky is angry and will not stop freezing the land until the wrong has been righted, but she does not know what the wrong is. But she has seen a safe haven in her dreams, one of green trees and grass where we can hide from the cold. 

That is where we are trying to go now, but the journey is long and dangerous. We have never left our lands before and know nothing of what lies beyond the plains.
