After a decade of being on the run since she escaped the clutches of her abusive father, Lilith Kaida (KY•DUH)-a mid-twenties nightclub bartender with an alternative style and a fierce attitude to match-had begun to feel like she had finally found her safe space in a world of heroes and villains.

That was until she began to let her walls be broken down by the friend group of a few charming pro-heroes, two in particular viewing her as potentially more than just friends, creating a complicated triangle of jumbled emotions and her hard-earned independence threatened.

After a resurfaced memory is triggered by a seemingly harmless conversation, events following would lead her to face far greater challenges than simply maintaining her freedom.

Will she have to keep running, hiding, and fighting to be free? Will she ever be able to truly feel like she could stop looking over her shoulder? Or will she find that she just needs the right hero to save her?
