Doctor Who Future is set several regenerations after the current Doctor.

The stories featured in Doctor Who Future are as close to canon as possible. 

They are styled like classic who meaning they have a certain number of episodes in a story.

Fresh out of a regeneration, the Doctor and Max land on a Garden Planet and have to find Sophie who was thrown out of the Tardis in the madness.

The Doctor, Max and Sophie get into massive trouble there and a chain of events happens that changes the Doctors life, completely.
